Retirement Plan
Plan is based on employee directed investments administered by MetLife. Contributions begin for all employees automatically after one year of service with minimum of 1,000 hours worked. Participants are completely vested with first contribution. Weeks automatically deposits on a bi-weekly basis 2% of each pay period’s gross wages. If the employee chooses to contribute 2% of gross wages, Weeks matches 50% of the employee contribution (total of 3% contributed by Weeks). Funds may be invested in low risk funds, balanced funds, high risk funds, or a combination of funds. Contributions are pre-tax. There are some IRS restrictions on early withdrawal.
Tuition Assistance ($1800 per fiscal year)
Weeks encourages employees to enroll in off‑duty educational programs which are related to their work and will result in professional growth. All regular full and part time employees are eligible for tuition assistance after completion of one year of continuous service.
