Dr. John Ford, a family care physician at Weeks Medical Center’s Whitefield Physican Office, was recently named to New Hampshire Magazine’s list of Top Doctors in New Hampshire. This year, in addition to the physician survey, the magazine instituted a new online reader’s poll, inviting magazine readers to log onto the magazine’s web site to cast their votes for their favorite doctor.

Approximately fifty doctors were nominated and to determine the top doctors, the magazine’s editors used testimonials and multiple nominations as criteria for the selection. One of the testimonials which was printed in the April issue of New Hampshire Magazine read: “Dr. [John] Ford will call you himself to check on your well-being after he sees you. In some cases he will give you his home phone number for a real emergency. He is very kind and listens to his patients. He never treats a patient like they are a nuisance.”
