Dr. Michael Garey has recently joined the medical staff at Weeks Medical Center as a family care physician and will be working in the Emergency Room and seeing patients two days a week in the Whitefield office.

Dr. Garey received his medical degree from The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He completed his Internship and Residency at Keesler Medical Center at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS. He comes to Weeks from the Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in Alamogordo, NM where he was a staff physician in the Emergency Department. Dr. Garey was also working part-time as a physician at Park City Wellness and Hyperbarics in Park City, UT and was an Associate Staff member at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT.

Weeks Medical Center is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital that serves the North Country towns of New Hampshire and Vermont. The hospital also provide home health services based in Lancaster and has physician offices in Lancaster, Whitefield and Groveton.
