Captain Christopher Laurent, ARNP has recently joined Weeks Medical Center’s Whitefield Physican Practice as a full-time Nurse Practitioner. He retired from the U.S. Navy’s Nurse Corps after a twenty-five year military career and is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC.

Mr. Laurent graduated from East Tennessee State University with a degree in nursing and the University of Alabama with a MS in Nursing with a clinical specialty in Trauma/Emergency Nursing. He also completed a post-Master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of California in San Diego. He has numerous awards from his service in the Navy and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies for academic achievements. His special medical interests are dermatology, joint injections and stress testing. Appointments with Chris can be made by calling 603-788-5095.

Laurent has family in Laconia, NH and is currently living in Jefferson.
