Weeks medical supplies arrived in Haiti this past week to assist in the relief efforts following the devastating earthquake. These supplies, sent in collaboration with Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, join the Weeks team of medical personnel who are currently in Haiti.
Dr. Walter Voigt, a Children of the Nation (COTN) medical team member from New Hampshire, holds a baby who has been treated for a broken pelvis. Dr. Voigt is checking the boy’s records with COTN–USA writer Laura Brost and another medical volunteer. Soon after, the young boy was taken in the COTN bus, along with his mother, to a refugee camp and clinic a few miles across the border into Haiti.
Dr. Voigt is in Haiti with other Weeks Medical Center personnel to assist during the aftermath of the recent devastating earthquake. Joining Dr. Voigt are Lynda Paquette, RN, Anesthetist Vince Garcia, Denise Brisson, RN and Angelo Vozzella, PA. Founded in 1995 by Missionaries Debbie and Chris Clark, COTN provides relief for orphaned or destitute youth.
